Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is your office accepting new patients?

Yes, I welcome everybody in my “family” and work flexible days and hours to suit everybody’s schedule!

2. How often should I brush and floss?

Your daily oral routine is essential to preserve your oral and general health. Brush your teeth at least two times a day for two full minutes. This routine helps you keeping tartar, bacteria and plaque away from your teeth and reduce the risk of gum and teeth diseases. Floss thoroughly before you brush to dislocate particles stuck in between your teeth you can then better remove with the tooth brush.

3. How often should I have a dental exam and cleaning?

Specialists recommend all patients to have a dental exam and a cleaning procedure at least twice a year. Some need more visits depending on their oral health state.

4. How can I tell if I have gingivitis or periodontitis (gum disease)?

These problems often go undetected until it is too late, this is why regular dental exams are crucial to preserve your oral health. In case you experience chronic bad breath or gum bleeding you should schedule a visit to my office.

5. How can cosmetic dentistry help improve my smile?

Cosmetic dentistry is concerned with the repair and restoration of stained, crooked, gapped, or broken teeth. I use a wide range of procedures and techniques including teeth whitening, implants, veneers, orthodontics, and more to help you regain your smile and overall dental health.

6. What are porcelain veneers and how can they improve my smile?

Veneers are porcelain shells bound to the surface of your teeth to lengthen and strengthen them, camouflage gaps and restore the looks and function of chipped or poorly shaped teeth. Veneers are custom designed for each and every patient and they quickly restore your bright white smile.

7. What can I do about stained or discolored teeth?

Most stains or discolorations are solved through a teeth whitening procedure with dramatic effects.

8. What should I do if I have missing teeth?

My office provides plenty of services to solve a missing tooth problem. Dental implants are the most common intervention, but I also offer a wide range of replacement options (fixed and removable bridges, full or partial dentures, cosmetic dentures, implant-retained dentures etc).

9. What can be done about old, unattractive, or discolored fillings?

I offer a wide range of options so you can have attractive, new composite filling or a porcelain inlay, onlay, or crown to replace your old fillings. Depending on the size of the original restoration or the damage we discover underneath, I will provide you with the best course of treatment to restore your smile and your dental health.

10. How should I take care of my dental implants?

Dental implants can be taken care of just like regular teeth. Brush and floss your implants as recommended and don’t skip your regular visits to the dentist so you can preserve your dental health for a long time.
